Welcome to KASHIWAGI CAFE, a delightful and cozy escape nestled in the heart of Shinjuku, Tokyo. Located just a stone's throw away from major office buildings, this charming café invites you to unwind and indulge in a sensory experience that perfectly marries the joys of coffee with a unique touch of whimsy.

KASHIWAGI CAFE stands out not just for its inviting ambiance but also for its captivating miniature train set that winds through the café, enchanting customers of all ages. Imagine sipping on a refreshing iced coffee or a tropical mango juice while watching tiny trains navigate their tracks—a playful yet tranquil backdrop for your moments of relaxation.

Guests have praised the café for its atmosphere and friendly service. Frank Rivas noted it as a “cozy cafe” ideal for unwinding and trying out various drinks, especially during the happy hour when you can enjoy a delightful selection at more inviting prices. Others, like Gregor Vogrincic, found themselves returning daily, drawn back by the exceptional iced coffee and welcoming staff. These genuine sentiments highlight KASHIWAGI CAFE as a local gem in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Outdoor seating is available for those who enjoy fresh air—or want to bring along a four-legged friend, as Hadi Permana discovered. Whether you’re meeting friends, reading a book, or simply enjoying a light beverage, this café's terrace becomes a haven for relaxation.

While reviews do mention some minor drawbacks, such as the café being a smoking establishment, it does not detract from the overall experience. The pleasant vibes, great music, and carefully crafted menu—including popular lunch sets—encapsulate what makes KASHIWAGI CAFE a must-visit spot.

In summary, KASHIWAGI CAFE offers a delightful blend of quality beverages, a unique atmosphere with a nostalgic miniature railway theme, and a relaxed vibe perfect for a quick getaway or a long stay. So, whether you’re a local or a visitor to Tokyo, be sure to drop by this quirky café for a refreshing experience that’s anything but ordinary.

Cozy cafe around the corner from major office building. Cute train set to play with. A bit pricey but not too bad. Happy hour is the best time to visit. Special events are a rip off but you don't have to join them .

I stayed in a nearby apartment, so I came here almost every day. I was always welcomed by friendly staff, and really enjoyed their iced coffee and mango juice on hot September days!

Between building cafe where there is a railway miniature place. Always stop by for a light drink and chilling out. Got terrace seats which can bring pet. Only 3 minutes walk from Nishi Shinjuku Metro Subway Station.

Fun cafe with a miniature train set. It's in a hidden alley of Shinjuku and has outdoor seating. Perfect for a book and coffee.

Good lunch sets and portions. One star knock for it being a smoking establishment out on terrace but door to inside the cafe still open so could smell the smoke. We are in a pandemic smoking doesn't help that.

Great coffee, vibe, and music. There is even a train set and a high end sound system
